Kalonda is helping “bridge the gap” through MakerMinded to ensure that students will have the knowledge, skills, and confidence necessary to thrive in STEM-related careers. MakerMinded is a digital platform that was launched in 2016 to impassion students in advanced manufacturing and provide them with transformational learning experiences, through gaming activities, project-based learning and competitions. Kalonda is an NGSX facilitator and a former DPS middle school science teacher and instructional coach. She is passionate about supporting educators and connecting students with cutting-edge skills and experiences that will make them attractive to the companies that will need their talents!
