Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Factitious, an engaging news game developed by the American University Game Lab’s JoLT Initiative, challenges players to detect fake stories from a set of real and fake online articles. The database-supported smartphone app was released in early July 2017 and quickly racked up impressive traffic with more than 540,000 players judging more than 5 million articles in the first 3 weeks! AU Game Lab Director Lindsay Grace will provide an inside look at how the creation of the Factitious game leveraged the talents of game designers and journalists.
